Mission
The mission of The Voices for SEND Support Network (VSN) is to provide comprehensive support and resources to Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME) families affected by autism, with a particular emphasis on addressing the needs of the Somali community in London and across the UK.
03.
Vision
Our vision at VSN is to foster a society where every BAME family impacted by autism feels understood, supported, and equipped with the knowledge and resources necessary to thrive. We envision a future where cultural barriers are overcome, and evidence-based interventions are accessible to all.

Background
The need for VSN arose due to the limited research and resources available to BAME families impacted by autism. Many families within these communities faced significant barriers to accessing appropriate support and interventions, leading to a reliance on traditional healing practices.

We advocate for the rights and needs of BAME families affected by autism, providing tailored support services to address their unique challenges and empower them to navigate the complexities of the autism landscape.
— 02
